Student’s trimester grades will be based on: · 35% - Assessments (i.e., Tests)/ Projects (Summary evaluations, rubric based performance). · 25% - Homework (as indicated on syllabus).
· 30% - Participation (daily group collaboration, effort, journal entries, weekly check sheets and class participation). · 5% - Scientific Notebook or Binder Check (as indicated on syllabus). · 5% - Class Preparedness: Students will start each trimester with a 60/60 point average. This average can be maintained if they have the required list of materials in class and arrive on time everyday. Students will lose 1 point for each day they do not have the required list of materials in class. |
