WHAT IF I'M ABSENT?

·      If a student is absent, make-up work is due no later than the Monday following the absence giving students a weekend to get caught up.

·     All make-up work must be completed prior to a quiz/test on topic and no later than the unit closure.  No make-up work will be accepted after the unit is closed.

·     If a student is absent the day of a test, the student will make up the test during the next Community time or the next after school help session.

WHAT IF I NEED EXTRA-HELP?

·      My extra-help day will be Tuesdays 2:15-3:00 pm.  Parents please email me if circumstances prevent your child from attending on Tuesdays.  If I am available, I will try to accommodate a different day.

·     Students are expected to come to an extra help session with specific questions regarding topics they are having trouble understanding and/or for help with assessment expectations (i.e., tests/projects).

·     Students should view extra-help sessions as a supplement to classroom learning to achieve their goals, not as a substitute for it.
