The Moon Log (LB  pg. 23) Assigned March 3/19 through 4/16-17.  Due:4/25/11.  If circumstances prevent viewing of the moon outside, students can use electronic tools (i.e., computers, cell phones etc.) to see the phases of the moon.

  • All week: Team assigned homework regarding in-class project: Solar System Tours.
  • Read Solar System Objects; Answer questions on handout.  Assigned 5/2; Due: 5/4 or 5/5

WEEK OF APRIL 11-15th:

  • Study Guide on Investigation 3 & 5- Questions will be reviewed Monday (4/11 & Tuesday 4/12). TEST: Wednesday April 13th.

Homework is intended to help students improve their understanding of concepts and skills discussed in class; to prepare students for the next class lesson; and to offer students an opportunity for alternative assessment.  To achieve these goals, the following student expectations.

·       Students must write all homework assignments, tests and project dates in their daily planners.

·       Students are expected to complete all homework assignments on time. ‘Late’ work will not be accepted- Absences excluded.

·       Homework will be graded as 100% (A), through 0% (F) The grade is based on the effort shown.  No credit is given if the homework is not completed before we go over the assignment in class-Absences excluded.

·       If students are absent, it is the student’s responsibility to check with me or check the absent work file regarding make-up work when he/she returns to school. 

Homework is not to be copied!  Homework determined to be copied between students will result in a 0% grade for students involved.
